Instead of another elimination diet or another cream, we used functional testing to understand what was actually driving both. Once we had the data, the plan became clear, and so did the results!!!!

    You mighttttt think you’re “just a light sleeper”, You mighttttt think you’re “just a light sleeper”, someone who always gets headaches…has random bloating, reacts to loads of foods, or OFTEN reaches for antihistamines…

But what if those symptoms aren’t random!!!! 

🦠Histamine is essential for your body, but when your histamine bucket is overflowing, it can show up in MANY different ways. 

The KEY isn’t just avoiding more foods or taking another antihistamine. It’s understanding WHY your body is struggling to keep histamine under control in the first place.

Gut health, hormones, nutrient deficiencies, stress, immune activation and genetics can all play a role. This is why I always focus on finding the root cause rather than guessing.

Because the same meal can leave one person feeling energised and another looking six months pregnant.

Your body doesn’t process food in isolation. It processes food based on the environment it’s working with.

So ask yourself:

• Is your nervous system stuck in chronic stress?
• Are you rushing every meal instead of sitting down to eat?
• Are you chewing your food properly?
• Are you eating whilst scrolling or working?
• Are you constipated and not emptying your bowels daily?
• Are your hormones out of balance?
• Is your gut lining inflamed or compromised?
• Are you constantly running on empty?
• Are you carrying emotional stress your body never gets a break from?

    It’s not just about WHAT you are eating but HOW yo It’s not just about WHAT you are eating but HOW you are eating that can drive a lot of digestive issues 👀 

If we are eating: rushed, stressed, on the go, distracted, really fast… we are on the BACK FOOT for being able to digest our food properly because our digestive super powers like:

Bile 
Stomach acid 
Enzymes 
Motility 

Are not being prioritised due to this stressful environment the body is in. When you start prioritising slowness and gentleness around earing- it really is game changing for symptoms like bloating, reflux, gas etc.

    Try these four simple habits to reduce bloating fo Try these four simple habits to reduce bloating for the next 7 days:

• Leave around 4 hours between meals so your digestive system has time to do its job.
• Take 3 slow belly breaths before eating to switch your body into a state where it can actually digest your food.
• Choose cooked vegetables over large raw salads if your gut feels particularly sensitive.
• Slow down and chew your food until it’s almost applesauce consistency before swallowing.

👉🏻None of these are magic fixes, but they can reduce the amount of work your digestive system has to do and help improve symptoms

Iffffff you try all four consistently and you’re still waking up bloated or looking six months pregnant by the end of the day, don’t ignore it. PERSISTENT bloating is often a sign that there’s something deeper going on!
